Summer Time Jazz at Heritage Oak with Shanna, Miles & Steve

Join us at Heritage Oak Winery for a beautiful summer evening of live music on Saturday, July 17 from 7 to 9 PM. Bring your own picnic and enjoy a glass of wine while you bathe in the cool sound of local jazz artists Shanna Carlson, Miles Cope and Steve Homan.
Seating and wine purchases will begin at 6:00. Tickets are $10 at the door. Reservations are recommended as seating will be limited. Wine is sold separately and will be available by the glass or bottle. No outside alcohol please.

Bird Walk with David Yee
Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM
Join other birding enthusiasts for the July Bird Walk. The tour will be led by David Yee who will guide the group across our vineyards, along the Mokelumne River and through our riperian woodland. David is among the leading experts at native bird identification in San Joaquin County.
The walk will start at the winery at 8:30. Sturdy walking shoes recommended. Binoculars and field guides are also helpful. Dress appropriately for the weather. Lunch at 11:30 with wine is optional and must be ordered in advance.
The cost is $20 per person for the bird walk. If lunch is desired afterward, there is an additional $10 charge. Contact David at 209 329-5490 to make your reservation, or email him at davidyee@lycnet.com include your telephone number. A credit card will reserve your place and meal.

Stress Therapy at Heritage Oak

Visit Heritage Oak Friday, July 23, where we can help you relax, allowing your tension and stress slip away. The Heritage Oak Stress Therapy program includes wine, music, the setting sun, and the entertaining sight of dozens of frenzied hummingbirds zipping about overhead looking for one last sip of the day from hanging feeders.
Guest musician scheduled for this evening is local jazz pianist Julio Giaroli.
Dessert is $7.00. Wine is available by the glass or bottle. Seating is limited. Please call 209 986-2763 to make reservations.
The final Stress Therapy session for this summer will be August 6. The event run from 7 to 9:30 PM.
Heritage Oak Wine Club Bar-b-que
When: Saturday, July 24, 2010, 5 PM to 9PM
Where: Heritage Oak Winery
For Whom: Heritage Oak Wine Club Members and their Guests
Bring the whole family and join us for a summer bar-b-que in the covered area behind the winery. Wine and appetizers will start at 5 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:30. The musical entertainment. featuring Shanna Carlson and Bob Boehm will begin at about 7:00.
We will be serving a chicken and trip-tip dinner, with salad and dessert. All the wine and other drinks are included. The cost for this event is $35 for adults and $15 for children or non-wine drinkers. Children under 6 are free.

The musician scheduled for this evening is none other than the house musician, Tom Hoffman, who also works in the winery kitchen washing glasses. Tom plays a wide variety of keyboard music. Oddly, this nights selection was written between 1735 and 1751 by a single composer, Dominico Scarlatti.
