Jazz at Heritage Oak

Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM

Hear the sound of the local band Swing Shift in a close up and intimate performance. The concert will run from 2:00 to 4:30 PM. Wine will be available by the glass or bottle.  No charge for admission.  Well behaved children are welcome.

Join other birding enthusiasts for our monthly Wednesday Morning Bird Walk. The tour will be led by David Yee who will guide the group across our vineyards, along the Mokelumne River and through our riperian woodland.  David is among the leading experts at native bird identification in San Joaquin County.

The walk will start at the winery at 9:30. Sturdy walking shoes recommended. Binoculars and field guides are also helpful. Dress appropriately for the weather. Lunch at 11:30 with wine is optional and must be ordered in advance.

The cost is $20 per person for the bird walk.  If lunch is desired afterward, there is an additional $10 charge. Tamara Little Concert and 2009 Wine Futures Sales Event

Saturday, March 20, 2010 Noon to 5:00 PM

On March 20th join us as we kick off the wine futures season with our official barrel tasting and futures sales event.  Through to July 31, 2010, taste wine right from the barrel and take advantage of great prices on wine futures. Discounts for mixed case and complete case purchases range form 25% to 35% off the projected tasting room price. Wines will be available for pick up some time in 2011.

Those who have purchased 2008 futures may pick the up on this day.

Joining us on March 20 will be the Tamara Little Trio. The concert will begin at 2 PM.  This is a free event.  Wine will be sold by the glass or bottle.  Appetizers and light snacks will be available.

Tamara plays the tenor guitar and sings her own compositions that span multiple genres, from acoustic rock to folk, to old time and bluegrass. Her songs are thoughtful, clever, and well written and as a performer she is confident and entertaining.

Tamara is joined by two widely known residents of the Sacramento music community, Steve Mc Lane on guitar and Ken Rabiroff on bass. Steve plays, sings, writes, records and performs both as a solo artist and with the band Poetic Justis. Ken is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and singer known for his musical contributions to bands such as the Loose Acoustic Trio and Marty Cohen and the Sidekicks.


Spring Wine Show at the Lodi Grape Festival

Friday and Saturday, March 26 & 27, 6:00 to 9:00 PM

Join Heritage Oak and fifty other local wineries in the Festival Pavilion as they show their wares at the biggest show of the year. Lots of food, music and fun.  Tickets for a chance to win an instant wine cellar with more than 100 bottles of wine go for only $20 each.

Riedel Glassware Tasting

Think your choice of stem ware has no impact on aroma and taste of  the wine you are drinking?  Think a one glass is as good as another?  Attend this enjoyable session with representatives from Riedel  Glassware and your eyes will be opened.  Taste Cabernet, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir is glassware designed specifically for these wines.  See for yourself what a difference the glass can make.

The cost per person is $60 or $50 for Heritage Oak wine club members. The admission also buys a set of four Riedel variety specific pieces of stemware from the "Vitis" series.

Heritage Oak Art Fair and Concert

Saturday, June 19, 2010  11 AM until 4:30 PM
