Groundhog Jazz at Heritage Oak

Enjoy top notch jazz from 1 to 4 PM, with Steve Homan on guitar, Francesca Gorré and Mile Cope on vocals, Bill Hoffman on double bass, John McDonald on percussion and Julio Giaroli on piano. Bring your own picnic and enjoy a glass of wine while you drink in the cool sounds of American Jazz and Latin Standards.
This concert is free. Bring a picnic and enjoy the afternoon. Children are welcomed to attend. Wine will be sold by the bottle or glass.

Wine and Chocolate Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, February 11-12, 2012
Visit Heritage Oak during this popular weekend in Lodi Wine Country. Chocolate Pizza will be served up on demand by Rustic Pizza. We will have jazz both days from 1 to 4 PM.
This celebration of love, wine and chocolate is held across Lodi Wine Country at more than 40 wineries in a two day event. At each winery, enjoy live entertainment, food, a dazzling array of Lodi wines. Tickets are $45 in advance of the event when purchased on the internet at www.lodiwine.com or by calling the Lodi Wine and Visitor Center at 209 365-0621. With your ticket you receive a commemorative wine glass, a map and event guide to all the festivities and admission to all of the participating wineries on both days of the event.
Heritage Oak wine club members may purchase for just $35. Contact Tom by email or telephone for details and pick your tickets up on either day at the tasting room.

Local birding expert, David Yee, leads a series of monthly birding tours based out of Heritage Oak during 2011. The tours will begin (9:30 AM) and end (approximately 12 noon) at the parking lot at Heritage Oak, and will include walks though portions of vineyards, along the Mokelumne River bank and across riparian woodland. Tours held April-October will start at 8:30 AM. The instructional walks are geared toward birding enthusiasts of all levels and interested children are welcomed.
The cost is $20 per person. An optional lunch, served with wine, is available for another $10 upon request. To make reservations, contact David at 209 329-5490 or email him at birdmanyee@gmail.com. Dress appropriately for the weather.
Spring Wine Club Party and Concert

Wine club members... mark this date on your calendars. The winery will be open from noon until 5 PM. Music that day will be provided by Jackie Floyd and Swing Shift beginning at 1 PM.
Club members should expect a postcard in the mail along with an email outlining this quarter’s suggested wines as well as the many other options. So as not to delay your shipment, please contact the winery if there have been changes to the credit card we have on file.
If your wine is shipped to you, look for it late in the first full week of the month or possibly early in the second week. Be sure to contact Tom before March 1 if you with to make changes in the wines you receive or if you with to postpone your shipment to a later date.

Marty Cohen and the Sidekicks in Concert

2012 Stress Therapy Sessions
Friday, June 29, 2012, 7 to 9 PM
Starting on this Friday evening, join us alternate Fridays on the patio at Heritage Oak from 7:00 to 9:30 to receive our version of stress therapy. While live music by local musicians floats across the patio, sip a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset while our resident hummingbirds frantically line up at feeders for a last drink of the day. Wine may be purchased by the bottle or glass and dessert is also available for $7.00. Piano music, sunset and feathered entertainment are free.
Subsequent dates for Stress Therapy are July 13, July 27, and August 10. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call 209-986-2763. |
