July Bird Walk

Local birding expert, David Yee, leads our monthly birding tours based out of Heritage Oak Winery. He is among the leading experts in native bird identification in San Joaquin County and Northern California. The tours will begin around 8:30 AM (9:30 AM November-March) and end approximately at noon at the parking lot of the winery. Bird walks include walks through portions of vineyards, along the Mokelumne River and across riparian woodland. The instructional walks are geared toward birding enthusiasts of all levels and interested children are welcome. 

The cost is $20 per person. To make reservations, contact David via phone or email. Sturdy walking shoes recommeneded and binoculars and field guides are also helpful. Dress appropriately for the weather.
